The purpose of BusinessExposure.ca, AdvertisingCalgary.ca, MyCanBiz.com, RateCanBiz.com is to allow consumers to rate a Canadian related business and post comments related to the products and services offered by the specific Canadian related business, based on their experience to that individual business. Our intention is to list all Canadian related  businesses located anywhere in Canada. This site is intended to create a positive constructive dialogue between the consumers and any Canadian related business.
The system is based on ratings from 1 to 5 for the following: Professionalism, Customer Support, Quality, Knowledge and Punctuality.

Definition: (for the purposes of this site): A Canadian business is any organization that has a Canadian component either in their corporate or management structure, or in the products or services they offer, or the products or services are addressing to Canadian consumers.

USE OF THIS SITE

The activity on this site is intended to lead to:

  • better information to consumers
  • better competitive market place
  • feedback for the decision makers in the rated companies
  • improved quality of services and products

All visitors (unregistered users) can:

  • rate any businesses on our database with ratings of more than two stars out of five. To rate with one or two stars you need to post a review.
  • submit any liquor related business for rating – all you need is the name of the business, its website if applicable and the city where the business is located.
  • search for detailed information, ratings and commentaries for any liquor related businesses in our database.
  • view the registered liquor related business companies.
  • review any business – post comments  about their products and services.

To use our website to the fullest extent you might want to register. Registration is free and it takes just a few seconds to register. Registrants may edit their registration information at any time after they receive their ID and password.

The registered users (or members) can:

  • use all the features for the visitors or unregistered users
  • rate any businesses on our database with ratings of more than two stars out of five. To rate with one or two stars you need to post a review.
  • introduce detailed information for your business, for advertising purposes
  • comment and argue the ratings of any liquor related business company
  • solicit and buy advertising on MyCanBiz.com

RATINGS

To rate a company or more, select the company and click on the stars corresponding to your desired rating. If you rate a business with a rating of 2 or less you need to register and write a comment about your experience.
To avoid confusion generated by the lack of proper information when registering a company, please make sure you have the accurate information regarding the business name, city, website if applicable and a short description on hand. If you introduce a company with incorrect information, it might mislead the other users and it might defeat the purpose of informing the other visitors.

ACCURACY OF INFORMATION

Our website administrators will check the accuracy of information posted on this site from time to time and will adjust or remove all information that proves to be inaccurate. However, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of posted information. Visitors should double check with a second information provider.

Business entities that are rated on our site are encouraged to identify errors and submit the proper information about their business. We will respond to requests by the rated business entities to adjust incorrect information in as much as possible a timely manner.
A business entity that is entered into our database may be:

  • a business of a registered corporation
  • a business of a partnership
  • a business of a business person or agent
  • a business of a not-for-profit organization  
  • a government commission

that has dealed with consumers in one way or the other. The names of these business entities have appeared in public circumstances at one time or the other (i.e. advertising). Therefore we will not remove entirely business entities information on our database when requested by the business entity itself unless it not active anymore. We just modify information when we identify errors or unappropriate content and to insure accuracy of information.

Consumers are encouraged to post only ratings based on their personal experience.

Legitimate business representatives are encouraged to post answers to issues raised by consumers and carry on a dialogue.

Comments that are personal, injurious, uncivilized - are not allowed on this site and will be removed as soon as they are identified. Users that post such content are the only and fully responsible for their actions.

We believe ratings of business entities are to the overall benefit of the market. The rated business as well as consumers benefit from activity of this site. The well rated business can enjoy an increased business demand. The poor rated business can adjust their practices to better serve their clients.  Consumers contribute themselves to the overall business environment and benefit from an informed source and the previous experience of other consumers.
